Law Clerk Tekia Jefferson is a 2005 graduate of Metropolitan State University, and is currently attending William Mitchell College of Law. She has an Associate Degree in Applied Science, emphasizing Paralegal Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Writing. Ms. Jefferson has been involved in the legal profession for five years. She has gained considerable litigation experience in several areas, including employment law, business litigation, and family law. She also appears in Conciliation Court on behalf of the firm. Ms. Jefferson has excellent legal research and writing skills. She is highly organized, hard working, and extremely self-motivated. She has the ability to tackle all new tasks and assignments with enthusiasm and is dedicated to meeting client needs. She is skilled in interviewing witnesses, drafting pleadings, investigations, and assisting the attorneys with trial preparation. Ms. Jefferson also has substantial knowledge of law office technology, including word processing office suites, accounting and billing programs, and other financial and programmatic software programs. |
